As title. My wife doesn't wear her silk dressing gown as she claims its too cold feeling. Weird I know. Will she hate satin PJs too?

In reply to Philip:

I made myself some satin Pj bottoms a while ago, and they're surprisingly toasty - warmer than flannel or normal cotton.
 Caralynh 14 Dec 2009
In reply to Philip:

I don't like them. They are sticky and sweaty. I like PJs to be "cuddly" (my favourites being a La Senza set with jersey cotton bottoms and a fluufy sparkly ballerina style top)

Not as sleepwear. Can't say I find it comfortable at all.
OP Philip 14 Dec 2009
In reply to Caralynr:

These are from La Senza. Might get her the cotton ones instead. I think she's expecting me to get her something skimpy and lace, but that's not much of a Christmas treat for her.

In reply to Removed User:

oo - worth adding - synthetic satin will make you sweat. Satin from natural fibres will keep you warm. But nobody wears synthetic sleepwear, right? <shudders at the thought>

Never saw the point in satin dressing gowns, mind.

In reply to Philip:

Gap are selling *very* nice cotton flannel pyjamas at the moment, if you want more options.
OP Philip 14 Dec 2009
In reply to Removed User:

For future reference, men do not need *more* options. We prefer less
Removed User 14 Dec 2009
In reply to Philip:

oo, in that case, I'll offer one suggestion - do NOT go to La Senza. It's all so... well... synthetic.

So true. :oD

Is M&S any better?
Removed User 14 Dec 2009
In reply to Philip:

Oh god yes. It's not *sleazy*. Debenhams also sell nice things like that, and have the benefit of selling all sorts of very nice underwear too, should the urge take you. You can't go wrong with M&S though.

In reply to Philip: Try these: www.jumpinjammerz.com
OP Philip 14 Dec 2009
Ha ha. Is that site for real?

I don't know why I bother putting any effort in really - I've had to buy my own presents (and the ones for her family) as she's crap at Christmas.
 Tree 14 Dec 2009
In reply to Philip: That site is for real! I know 'cos Mrs Tree requested a set for Xmas this year. They do some with a bum flap too, so I'm going for those...
Bingers 15 Dec 2009
In reply to Philip:

I she really wants to be warm, suggest skin to skin contact. I do however, accept that this may not be seen as so generous when the present is unwrapped to find nothing in the box.

So to clarify you are going to buy some xmas PJ's for Mrs Tree with a built in bum flap. For some an elasticated waist band would be convenient enough to address those uncontrolled and sudden carnal urges.

In reply to Slugain Howff: They are an all in one type thing. But yes, carnal and furtive nocturnal access is why I feel the bum flap was invented...

That's what she wants you to think

In reply to Philip: turn the heating up and make her sleep naked.

In reply to Removed User:

Thanks, but it's not about sleep. She doesn't wear them in bed, its for around the house. Decided she can buy her own in the January sales.

How dorky must that bloke in the red feel? They are romper suits, AKA babygrows!

Then buy her the slinky, lacy number that she thinks you're getting her, and turn the heating up...

In reply to Masood: And how comfy must they be? Don't try to pretend you don't fancy some!

So spend money of underwear and then spend money on heating too!! You must be a fool. I'll buy her some extra thick PJs and turn the heating down.

If I wanted to look at scantily clad ladies I'd go on the internet. I need a wife to clutter up the house, invest in handbag and shoes, and to make lists of things that need doing.
