Hi. My name is Beti and I've just moved in Ireland. I am looking for a Think Pink store in Ireland or in UK. Anybody has any idea about one in the area? Thanks a million!

Do they still exist? I haven't seen Think Pink stuff on sale for about 10 years.

What are Think Pink clothes? Dungarees and sensible shoes?

Think Pink were the prototype for prana and others. Californian climbers clothing with some slogans on them, 80s style. Improved your leading by one whole grade, allegedly, and that was just for a t shirt.

Apparently they do - but are no longer anything to do with the original company from Yosemite.

I was under the impression that they never had anything to do with california, climbing or yosemite (yes i know this is doubling on the Ca bit) but are actually an italian brand with good marketing sold to rich europeans. The same applies for napapjiri the supposedly norwegian outdoor(ish) brand, they are actually an italian marketing construct too.

: "Think Pink - great way of climbing. Think Pink was born in the Yosemite national park to relax your mind and understand nature" - iirc.

You could well be right. However, I seem to remember a climbing connection from years past. Here we go...

Feel free to vomit at the marketing hype

At that time, a group of young rock climbers began to use a free-climbing
technique with minimal equipment so that they could enjoy freedom of
movement and liberate themselves in their adventures. They introduced a
different approach to staying in tune with nature as well as a whole new style of
attire. This attitude led to their founding of a causal wear brand using the color
Pink, which represents freedom, as its signature.

THINK PINK encourages individuals to live the spirit of the young climbers in
the contemporary urban style – to create one’s own style and relax in
appreciation of nature while looking cool.
