Does any one know why you can't print a3 maps from memory map?

Any way to resolve this?

I believe it something to do with licensing by the Ordnance Survey.

I've got Anquet instead of memory map, but surely the same method still holds?

I simply print out to an A4 PDF file at 50% zoom (or 71% zoom, I can't remember which), and then print the PDF file out on A3 paper. Depending on the settings of your PDF writer, you shouldn't get much loss in resolution.

To print at A3 you can do the following...

for 1:25000 map, set the memory map scale to 1:35355 (i.e. multiply by square root of 2)

Then set printer to A3 and print at 141% size.

So Memory Map is sending a 'compressed' image at A4 size which the printer then scales back up to A3 size.

Hope this works for you
In reply to Kevin (north east & spain): I am sure i have read somewhere, there is another way to do it.
