I thought it highly apt. A world where corporate flights are so common and prolific that people can afford to  buy such tickets.

Fair enough, I was just struggling to engage with the hero of the story. Booking 5000 flight seats in 3 years seemed a bit greedy.

But he also cancelled thousands - seems he wasn't too well at times - spoke to the AA staff in the early hours because he knew them all, chatted for an hour, booked a flight and cancelled it the following day.
