My computer is dead and so I'm accessing my email on the web. (This is very crap as it only has new messages, anything that's already gone to my computer isn't still on the web to read, so I can't refer to any past emails). Anyway. The inbox folder is acting normally. The trash folder is acting normally. But the sent folder is staying resolutely empty. I checked options, thinking there must be something set wrongly... nothing like that there. I've clicked the option getting it to tell me when a message is sent, and it does, it tells me it's sent... but still nothing appears in the sent messages folder. I've a horrible feeling that the explanation for this will be something to do with the settings I've got on my computer... that the sent messages will be going to the sent message file there, as chosen, and departing the server ... but of course, I can no longer access them on my computer, nor access my computer to change its settings. Any ideas? Apart from banging my head against the table, that is.

Are you checking the 'save to sent items folder' before you send?

Bless you, at least one of my problems has a simple solution. If I ever run into you drinks are on me.
