Read somewhere the other day that women have the sex life they want. At first I didn't agree with it and thought what aload of BS. But then thinking about it, they do utlimatly decide and control access to sex. I obviously think this is more true for girls in a serious relationship as there is always a guy round they like.
But there is still some truth in the fact that if a girl goes out, meets a guy and wants to sleep with him, she stil decides when they first have sex. Also most men are quite likly to sleep with her as soon as she has decided she wants sex.
Being male myself (As I'm sure you can tell from the above) I know how fickle us men are and how ultimately we think with our dicks. I suppose it just comes down to that old joke that women need the right setting, the right mood, the right location and the right buttons pushed, where as men just need a time.
Just wanted to know what your thoughts are, whether I'm being completly sexist, or just a little slow in picking up on this fact that every other guy has always known, or just maybe never thought about.

the problem is, men should be (by nature watch any other species) the sexual aggressor (not like, you know club you round the head in a dark ally agrressor.) but because of the rape cases in court (I'm not saying rape is a good thing, im just saying some of the things that pass as "rape" are stupid) where men are sentenced dispite the fact she never said "no." how ever you sentancing a woman of the same thing (it has happened where drugs are used)

Unfortunately what is desirable in terms of animal instinct isnt necissarily what is desirable in terms of how we were brought up. The instinct thinks only in terms of survival so strength, pack status, fitness, optimal body shape etc. It is completely selfish and at odds with how we'd like it to be. Whether men and women are nice people says nothing about their instincts, which are not choices they can make. If were not aware of this we tend to fuse together - to con-fuse our social selves with the instinctual side. And get frustrated when it isnt what we were taught to think.

I would say that that your general outline sounds quite true for a majority of cases. Though its important to know that some men dont think only with their dicks, and some women sleep around far more than a lot of men.
I have never had a one night stand, nor would I want to! And never have I waited for sex early on in a relationship! I find sex far more enjoyable when its on mutual ground. Using it as a tool to get what you want I cant see as enjoyable at all. Of course sex is a very emotive thing, its almost impossible not to have other motives involved, and ive found it very useful to try and see through them as much as possible (my own motives in particular). Things have turned very sour in the past for me through not paying attention.
Trying to find out what everyone else is doing or whats 'normal' because you want to justify your own behaviour or because you want to belittle someone elses behaviour doesnt make a scrap of difference. If you think that women dictate mens sex lives and youre uncomfortable with it (for example!), then the issue is probably far more to do with your own view of sex than what the rest of the society is doing!
If the article you have read has bothered at all then that says somthing about how true it is for you. Of course it might also be true for 10,000,000 other people too, but you cant do anything about them! You can make generalisations, but all that really matters (and all that you can ever influence) is your own personal approach to the situation.
Maybe the article doesnt bother you at all, and its just a curiosity, I dont know.
