Photo printing "booths" in Jessops

I use the local one every now and then to run off a few 6*4s (having kind of given up on my Epson R300 which has blocked nozzles and tends to drive me to tears!).

With one exception, EVERY SINGLE TIME I use the Jessops one, something goes a little bit wrong with data transfer (whether off a USB stick, CD, memory card, whatever). Several times it printed a pic that I DEFINITELY hadn't selected. Sometimes it prints more copies than I ordered (not a big problem, still same charge).
Today to try to avoid the first of these problems, I took a USB stick there that only had 3 pictures on and nothing else.

Only two showed up on their system, so I thought maybe I'd made a mistake. No, came back and checked, there's 3 pics on there.

Always on the same system in the same branch, and I've told them there's something wrong every time.

Just wondering if anyone else experiences similar?

In reply to Kenny:

Never used Jessops one, so can't comment, but the Boots one has always been fine for me, and pretty decent quality.

Yes, it buggers me around as well - won't ackowledge the existance of all pictures on the CD/USB stick, but I've checked subsequently on my home PC and they're definitely there. Fortunately it's something I don't do very often.

(There's no information given on things like maximum permissible file size, picture size etc - maybe there should be?)

In reply to Wingnut: Found out that in this case it was my "fault", my PC at work gets awkward with properly ejecting a certain USB stick so I tend to get impatient and just pull it out. Usually I get away with it (or perhaps the corrupted files go undetected; but in this case as there were just 3 files on the stick, the last one got corrupted?)
It actually shows up just fine on this PC but I got a colleague to check it and it was just gobbledygook on his laptop.
So might that be the case with you?

(everything else I said above, is definitely a Jessops problem)

In reply to Kenny: My mistake - thumbnail shows up fine but it won't actually open (in GIMP at least)
