BMC Pembroke Climbing Festival | 3 - 5 June 📌 Bosherston
A festival celebrating the magnificent sea cliff climbing of Pembroke. Adventurous trad climbing for all abilities in the stunningly beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Affordable camping at the South Pembrokeshire village of Bosherston with local "climber's" pub St Govan's Inn and famous tea rooms. The bank holiday weekend includes on the rock climbing workshops by local professional experts, wildlife walks by local ecologists, speakers, the ever popular quiz night and refreshments, and breakfast baps and barbecue, including vegan options. Not to forget the nearby "top ten" beaches of Barafundale and Broad Haven South, on which to chill and rest your limbs.
BMC Gower Climbing Festival | 26 – 29 August 📌 Southgate
A weekend of climbing-related fun for old and new climbers to come together as a community and enjoy the climbing of the Gower. Base camp will be held at the beautiful Moorlakes Wood campsite where there will be space for camping, campervanning and even hammocking! There will be a variety of activities to do on site including morning yoga, gear demos, slacklining, campfires, discos and more.
A festival showcasing the wonderful climbing at Wilton Quarries. As always there’ll be plenty to do from turning up as independent climbers and sampling some of the finest quarried gritstone, through to getting involved with courses and other organised activities.
