/ JOBS: Westway Climbing key positions needed!
The Westway Climbing centre has the unique opportunity to be able to advertise 2 key positions in our Climbing team - Climbing Front of house manager and Climbing Operations manager.
The Westway, otherwise known as the best and biggest lead climbing centre in London, is looking for 2 talented management professionals to take the helm with our Customer service and Operations teams. Both positions are full time and salaries range from £22k per annum to £27.5k per annum, depending on experience. Job purposes are highlighted below. Not only are you joining the Westway team but you will also be working with one of the UKs largest employer of climbing professionals (Everyone Active) and all the advancement opportunities that go with it.
Climbing Front of House Manager (CFoHM)
To deliver high quality customer service to all customers, in-line with the organisational policies and procedures. You will manage the Climbing Front of House team to ensure the smooth operational running of the Climbing Front of House team on a day-to-day basis as well as ensure that the customer facing team are of the highest quality. Your enthusiasm, positive and friendly attitude will ensure customers encounter a welcoming and enjoyable experience at all times. You will aid with the retention and attraction of new customers as well as ensure the customers for the three core areas of the business (Climbing coaching, casual climbing and climbing retail) are provide the best possible service.
Climbing Operations Manager (COM)
The Climbing Operations Manager will be responsible for management of the operations team. Responsibilities will range from maintenance and inspection through to the day to day safe running of the centre. You will be required to identify and prioritize the differing needs of a busy and nationally leading indoor climbing facility. The Climbing Operations Manager is required to ensure that the customer journey through the climbing centre is an enjoyable and safe one. Line manage the Climbing Operations team who are a highly skilled team who take responsibility for one of the busiest climbing centre’s in the country.
