My name is Kris McCoey, a climber and instructor from North Wales. I damaged my leg and foot a year ago and ended up with one foot a bit bigger than the other. This led me and another climber to create TOEBOX, an app to help fit rock climbing shoes.
Below is a raffle we are running at TOEBOX. The aim is to gather some information and find experienced climbers to test the app when it's ready.
If you can help us, you will be in for a chance of winning £60 to use at your local wall.
We will select three winners on the 30th of September. Once selected, we will contact you to find out which wall you want a gift card for.
Cheers, Kris.
Struggling to find the perfect climbing shoes? TOEBOX is going to make your life a lot easier!
TOEBOX is a community-led app created in North Wales.
In short, the TOEBOX app will work by:
Comparing your feet to the internal dimensions of every shoe on the market in seconds.
Use user preferences to work out the best fits for you, giving you loads of geeky info.
Use your feet measurements to match you with other users to buy and sell used shoes.
Find your weird foot size "sole mate" to swap or buy shoes with.
Show you the closest shops or walls that have the shoes in stock for you to try on.
How can you help and be entered into the raffle?
Measure your feet using our guide.
Complete our questionnaire.
If you have it, follow and like us on Instagram: @toebox.app (this would be a huge help)
Once the app is ready to test, we will send it to you to be part of our test team and give us feedback.
