Managed to get a blood blister today from a sharp crimp. NHS online says not to pierce it and allow the body to sort it out naturally.

Although i expect this will a) take a while, b) leave me with baby soft skin on my middle finger which will c) be more suseptable to re-blistering/ flappering (there's a new word).

Anyone with experience dealing with them? Worth just taping over, puncturing, leaving alone?

In reply to CharlieMack: i usually puncture them then gradually sand them down
In reply to CharlieMack: Bear in mind that NHS 24 is not designed for those who like hanging off tiny holds. It will also err on the side of caution. Pin, hold under flame to sterilise, tiny hole to burst, slkae it of fluid, clean, tape up, keep clean to avoid infection.

That's what i thought, not climbing tomorrow, so hopefully it should be semi-fixed by friday.
Maybe i'll go for some sloper action as its on the tip, not the pad bit.
