Horse asked the question a while ago, and I've started off again the thread, of whether the BMC Area Committee meetings can be changed in order to make them more relevant to the average climber!!

If anyone wants a look at the BMC website discussion board, the address is:

http://www.thebmc.co.uk/forum/default.asp

otherwise we can carry on the discussion here if more folk have an opinion to make ....

Well it looks like its just me and you Bomber, although I note that a certain Roger has joined in over on the BMC site. Wonder who that might be then?

In reply to Horse:

The establishment are having it rather too much their own way over on the BMC discussion forum could do with some support as its starting to feel like Custers Last Stand at the moment.

Hmm! No one seems to want to get involved with this one, so let me ask something slightly different. If you were able to change 3 points about what the BMC Area Committee do or the way in which they operate, what would they be?

1. ??
2. ??
3. ??

Anyway, that's it from me. Had a cracking night out on the crag with the gang (some of whom I now know as Rocktalkers),and even managed to beat the thunderstorm back to the car, but it's late ....
