I'm looking to get to Chee Dale for a bit of sport tomorrow, but it looks like there is going to be a few hours of solid rain today. Does anyone know how long it will need to dry off before I can plan a return trip?
Given its current state, and the recent spell of dry weather, I suspect it'll be able to shrug it off pretty quickly and that you'll be absolutely fine tomorrow.
I'm about 10mins from Chee Dale. The sun appears to have burnt through this mornings murking looking start. Currently not looking like this rain is going to come to much.
Depends where you have in mind. Some of the crags are still very wet, even on crags which I associate as being pretty dry (e.g. Two Tier) there's still the odd damp pocket around as of yesterday. Parts of Long Wall were wet on Tuesday. If it does end up raining a fair bit it could come through. Best bet is stuff on the Embankment.
