Hi All,

What it says on the tin. Anyone got any idea of a release date for the Ohmega?

Cheers,

Steve

In reply to steveoracle:

Can't find any definitive date annoyingly.

Needles have it for pre order but even they add on they don't have a date of arrival!

I want one.

Isn't there just a lever on the side?

Edelrid's distribution hasn't always been as German as expected into this country. They got me a pair of the Rage ice tools for review in spring 2023, when we published the review I think in February 2024 you still couldn't get them in UK shops! I do note you can buy them now, which is great because they are great and not too pricey. But don't hold you breath on the Ohmega!

In reply to TobyA:

Have you met Tenaya?

1st of August, I believe. Though I'm not sure if that was specifically in the UK, or just Germany/EU/R.o.W

I take they're not the most reliable on keeping to delivery dates?

I do remember a period back in maybe the mid 00s where DMM had a habit of taking full back page ads in the climbing mags with big CAD pictures of upcoming innovative products - the Revolvers for instance. But then a year or so later when it came out it wouldn't look like the CAD design because they obviously had issues actually producing them in reality. I never quite got why they started advertising products that hadn't actually finished designing yet!

But anyway it seems we've got Spanish, German and British companies all doing this! Have BD or Petzl over promised does anyone remember? Then the French and Yanks can join the party!
