Hi guys, hoping someone can help me out here. Trying to get to kolmynos 1 March to 11th of March. Really struggling to get everything lined up.Was looking at UK to Athens then any way from there

I haven't tried it, but you can get a ferry from Bodrum to Kos, and then Kos to Kalymnos. Could be another option if it suits

Don't know about March, but we went out of season in November and took a plane to Athens, then a plane to Kalymnos.

Last March we flew Manchester to Athens and then Athens to Kos - quick taxi ride to the port and then a short ferry to Kalymnos. That took a full day.

Same route on the way back though to make it work we had a night and most of a day in Athens. That was fine for us - Athens is great city with lots to see in the daytime and a good nightlife.

Usually three flights a day Athens > Kos through the winter. Currently winter schedule (it changes) three flights a week Athens > Kalymnos

Thanks. I’ve seen the three flights, just trying to make it all work without a stop over somewhere. Will end up having a night in Athens! Thanks for the help

What was the plane like from Athens to Kalymnos? The climbing website makes its sound a like small one? Got friends that’s don’t fly well

Apartments Tina will pick you up and drop you off for no extra charge - about 10 mins from the airport.

Something to be aware of is the Athens-Kaly flight is sometimes cancelled at the last minute due to cross winds in Kaly

When this happened to us, we queued up for 2 hours (2 other Olympic flights cancelled at same time), were given 250€ cash in hand and told we'd been booked onto the next available Kos flight

The next available Kos flight was 5am the next day so we dossed in the airport, got the flight and were climbing before our mates on Kaly had had breakfast
