I went to the Salewa wall in Bozen where they have the prototypes installed. But you needed an induction from the staff to be allowed to use them, which we didn’t have time for as we were just passing through on our way home from the Dolomites. So I didn’t get to try one out

Seriously though, mechanically reeling the rope in could be made reliably faster - I suspect the tricky bit is detecting exactly when to do it - can't afford to be late.
