We are very happy to have just made significant donations to many bolt funds in areas we cover.

This has included us buying bolting kits for the Peak area and Yorkshire. I was also lucky enough to be part of a bolting workshop run by Kris Clemmow at Horseshoe and, as a result of this, a group of us are now fully equipped with the kit and knowledge to take on some of the bolting effort in the Peak area.

The Peak Bolt Fund is a fund to raise money for bolts and bolting equipment for climbers to equip and reequip routes in the Peak District. The kit is available to all. If there is a route or buttress in the Peak that you want to re-equip or even equip get in touch to find out how it works.

Lots of new routes and several new crag sectors already developed in Yorkshire this year. Plus we are always on the lookout for worn or badly situated bolts or belays that we can replace. 

A 2025 Yorksport guidebook supplement is available direct from me for a £15 donation to the fund. All we need now is a new definitive sport climbing guide to the area😉.

I read the deleted message and struggle to see how it could be considered “Misleading content”. Seems excessive to have removed it.
