Are you referring to the Westgrat? If so, it is about 1.30 hours from the Salbit Hut (see link below) and about 5 mins from the Salbit bivouac hut. It is a very long route and very few people would manage guide book time. You would be best to use the bivouac hut as the approach in the dark can be tricky if you don't know the way! Worth warming up on the easier Sudgrat first... this will give you a great view of the Westgrat and a feel for the area generally. Some links to photos below.

Should have added... the Alpine Club's Bernese Oberland guidebook contains route information on both the Westgrat and the Sudgrat. The relevant Swiss Plaisir guide - Ost, I think, does too. Finally, there is the Salbit guidebook by Hans Berger, local mountain guide and Salbit Hut guardian.

Hans was in the process of preparing a new edition of his guidebook when I was over there in September, and at the time it was due out very soon. Could be well worth a call to him in the hut to find out if it is available, as it was by far the most detailed guide (available to buy in the hut if you can't find it elsewhere)...
