Anyone indulged? Not in the logbooks, and can't find any previous threads on it. Details here. http://www.ukclimbing.com/articles/page.php?id=25

Wondering if a rubber dinghy aproach on a calm summer's day would be the way forward? Can't really make much sense of the tyrolean idea, when I've looked at them from the clifftop, they look more than 50m away.

I know that Dan Donovan and Paul Donnithorne have climbed some, if not all, of them.

A group of 4 did climb both stacks and set up a tyrolean. they had someone onthe coastal path waiting to take photos of someone on the tyrolean but it all went pear shaped when the rubber dinghy was over turnned by the incoming tide. 2 of them abbed off to sort out the dinghy. We got bored at this point and went to the pub as it was getting dark.

Talking to someone the following day and it would seem the 2 who saved the dinghy left the 2 on the top who were rescued by helicopter.

So no one has actually done the tyrolean as far as I know.
