Has anyone recently returned from a trip to Pabbay? I'm due to head out there this coming weekend with a group. 

A friend rightly pointed out that it's been near drought in the Highlands this spring. Is the usual water source still running? 

Here's hoping we don't have to haul in all our drinking water!

Although not recent as requested, I was there in a similar heatwave before covid and the stream was still running. Perhaps whichever boatman you go with might have a more up to date idea?

Taking a short length of hose pipe could be a good idea.

We came off the island on Sunday evening; another team of 12 arrived earlier the same day.

Burn was still running OK, though noticeably slower than the start of our trip week earlier. We had a 6m length of hosepipe, which did make filling up water bottles fair bit slower.

Some folk were bathing/washing in deep pool in second burn, behind the derelict house - guess could always source drinking water from above here?
