UKC

Hi all, 

Just a bit baffled while looking for climbs in the the Lakes. Black Crag (Wrynose) has loads of climbs with the Rockfax symbol on UKC and it says its in the Lake District Climbs book but I cannot find it on the app at all. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Pike o' Blisco – scroll all the way to the right. 

It looks like it has a different name in rockfaxland: "Pike o' Blisco", with "Black Crag" being a buttress name there. Searching for "black crag" will show pike o blisco as a result, but it's not  clear why unfortunately, see first screenshot. These name mismatches are a continuing source of friction, and we can probably improve on the system a bit.

One feature we'll be adding in the future is to make the route search (under the "routes" tab) work in the same way as the crag search under the "crags" tab - so routes that exist but are not installed yet will appear in a grey section at the end with an option to install them, see second screenshot. This wouldn't be a perfect solution but it would help a bit.
