/ No climbing area overview page in the app
I would really like to see an overview page for each of the climbing areas in the app. You get one at the front of each Rockfax book and its an excellent quick reference for how many of each type of climb each crag has within the area. At the momment you have to download all the crags in an area and then look through them one by one to find out about the spread of grades, which is a bit tedious to say the least.
Thanks for listening
Couldn’t agree more, without it the app is almost unusable
Hi Ben, thanks for your feedback.
We are looking at implementing a stage in the app that presents overview information and an area map - essentially the intro section from our books in some format.
In the meantime there is a way to get this information which may offer some help. If you are in an area - say Costa Blanca - then make sure that is the only area installed on the phone. You can then use the Routes tab to filter to your preferred route type eg. '2 star and above Orange spot sport routes'. Not ideal and something that we need to work on for sure.
An overview map can easily be found using the Map tab which will centre on your location. Using the filter on here you can hide everything except Installed and Store Crags to see what is available on the app near you, or anywhere else if you zoom around a bit.
Thanks for the reply and the tip on finding the info from the map section, very useful
