They do shoreline clean-ups on and off with locals who come along and the council supply ppe bags pickers etc.
If what they are now going to do is open it up, remove all the trees old shipyard debris etc, then that will help keep away (hopefully) those that use it for drinking etc.
At the moment there is a lot of rusty metal etc around there that the shoreline cleanups just can't tackle. It needs some heavy equipment to make a read difference down there.
