A while ago, I asked on here for advice about Pen-Y-Holt Stack. Anyway, I and a climbing partner got there Monday with the right tide conditions, and perfect weather, and climbed it. We intended to do the HS but ended up doing a mix of House of Cards (HVS 5a) and Making Passage (HS 4b) with a diagonal linkup between them. We were down at about low tide, and got two routes on Cabin Door done beforehand and one after. A fantastic day out.
So - thanks for the various tips, and to add that there's a new maillon on 7mm cord added for the abseil.
