hi All,
I'm planning on going to the Dewerstone this sat, though the forecast for Shaugh Prior seems to have been&looks rather grim for the next couple of days; as I have c3 hours drive I would be grateful if the locals could advise me on the condition of the crag,
greatly appreciated in advance,
sebastian

We've had torrential rain here on Dartmoor for over 24 hours, with flood warnings on many of the local rivers. Sat forecast is rain and Sun is heavy rain. The Dewerstone will be very slimy especially under the trees. Your best bet would be one of the tors or Baggy, which dry quicker, but quite honestly I wouldn't drive for 3 hours this weekend, at least not in this direction.

Yeh good call changing location...Forecast is grim for the weekend, Sunday in particular.

You may get a route or two in on Sat if you don't mind dodging the odd shower, as others have said though it doesn't dry particularly fast.
