He's started, and might be worth keeping an eye on this, as he is holder of the Lake District 24 hour record.

In reply to mountainbagger:

Think he's done leg 1 in 2 hrs 13, so on track with Jack's record

Flew past me down Hall’s Fell ridge this morning a little after 9. Could not believe the speed of the 3 of them!

9 35 and up onto pillar. Anyone know how this compares to record pace?

Edit; looks to be lightning fast but 40 mins slower than Jack Kuenzle at Red Pike.

Yes. From what I remember about Jack's attempt, he finished fast!

13hrs 35mins for Andy I think. 4th quickest time.

Jack Kuenzle (current record) 12hrs 23mins.

I made this graph (and hijacked a page of my wife’s website for somewhere to put it), to compare the splits of Kuenzel, Jornet, Wild & Berry.

In reply to ablackett:

That's so cool, thanks!

Cheers, spreadsheets are cool.

I will update that sheet and make it more suitable for tracking future fast BG attempts, it feels like that data should all exist in one place.
