Did a quick search and didn't find anything but I figured quite a few people on here knew of Charlie.

Through his round he indirectly had a big impact on me and I've since met him and had some email correspondence. One of the great things about the CRR for me was the interest and pleasure Charlie still took in it.

A few years ago I bumped into him while warming up for the Ben race. On impulse I put out my hand and introduced myself as 'Number 93 on your list'. He was clearly as pleased about this as me and when I ran past in the race he shouted 'Come on number 93'.

So thank you Charlie for your round, your legacy is assured.

RIP to an absolute legend. I went to a talk he did a few years ago, he was extremely entertaining.

This is terrible news. He contributed so much.

I have yet to run the CRR, but when I went to pick up my certificate for the BGR at my one and only Bob Graham Club dinner I was presented it by both Nicky Spinks and Charlie Ramsay. I was humbled and totally delighted.

I've supported a few Ramsay rounds and on most of those Charlie was out on the round somewhere to support the runner(s). A truly great and lovely man.

What a great legacy though.
