Does anyone know this north west-based crazy cat?

Andy Ridge looks like he's from the same hood.

Just stumbled across him by accident on Strava. He's knocking out 365 marathons in 365 days. All at a decent pace with some inclines!

Madness, but Im going to follow him for inspiration and sheer entertainment. My knackered old bones managed 7 flat miles this afternoon at 30sec per min quicker than he did 26 miles, his 21st marathon of the year. Bloody freezing too.

He's hoping to raise £1m for cherridy. Now that's a person worthy of a knighthood. I wish UKC would focus a bit more on this type of stuff. Im worn out by everything else.

I know him by sight and see him running about now and then. He did 110 marathons in 110 days last year, so maybe he just fancied upping the mileage a bit?

It's the fact that he can do that much running without a serious injury, or something dropping off that astounds me! His preparation must be immaculate. I take every hat I own off to him.

Cracking effort. Hope he makes it.
