Naddle Beck - Hare Shaw - Selside runnability?

I'm based in the far east Lakes next week, and looking to get up onto the tops from Bampton with pals who are decent road runners but maybe a bit less nifty on the hills. I've not been on any of the hills east of Haweswater before.

From Selside to Branstree and on towards Harter Fell looks fine but the first bit looks on the map like it has the potential to be a bit rougher and boggier. Maybe less easy for running, and there may not be a path heading exactly where we want it to (a rarity in the Lakes)... Wet feet and sense of humour required, or is it actually OK? Can anyone advise? Thanks

That area is a bit rough in places, but nowhere near as bad as the North Pennines, for instance. There are bits of paths and no major peat hags. I think the vegetation might have increased since the RSPB took over managing the area, but it didn't hinder movement last time I was there a year or so ago.

Thanks Guy, sounds fine
