My soon-to-be-brother-in-law is over from 🇺🇸 and started his Trail LEJOG run yesterday if anyone fancies some long form dotwatching 😁. I’m aiming to join up with him for a few days if life allows when he gets to Scotland in a few weeks’ time, and I know he’d appreciate the support if others fancy joining him for a few hours or giving an encouraging word along the way:

That looks great and strikes a chord with me as I was wondering about the possibility of a trail LEJOG a few days ago.

I would definitely be interested in offering support for a few miles if I am around when he passes through our area in the middle of the Welsh Marches.

Has he got a schedule or is it a matter of waiting to see how he progresses?

More the latter I think - he’s going well so far despite a soaking overnight on Day 1. Sure he’ll be glad to have the company!

Thanks so much for posting this, I saw it a few weeks back and Andy's adventure really struck a chord with me.

This weekend he was passing on the Pennine Way not far from my home and I had the pleasure of running with him for a few hours up to Gargrave. He's raising money for a great cause and I'm sure he would love some more support as he heads further north!

Great to hear, and I saw him on Saturday and he mentioned it was great to run with you. I’m hoping to join up with him on Saturday up north, he reckons he’s about 10 days left to John O’ Groats if all goes well.
