Hi all I'm a new user  to the forum and looking at taking a break in the Spanish Pyrenees this summer, can anyone recommend anywhere or anyone for a 1-2 week beginners climbing course

Hello and welcome.

You need to give a bit more info, starting with what sort of climbing?

If bouldering; maybe get a guidebook and go climb.  Don't bring pof back

If single pitch sport, then I'd recommend learning in the UK before you go.  There's not much to it.  Then get a guidebook and head out.  Make sure your rope is long enough for the routes you want to do.

If multipitch then you need to learn a bit more about belays, plus abseiling and prusik-ing.  Dent d'Orlu in the Eastern side has nice bolted multipitch of you're not fixed on Spain

If trad, then there's quite a lot more to the skill of protection placing.  That might be fun to learn in the sun.  Suggest hiring a guide for that purpose in France; over here go to Plas y Brenin or join a club.  Pic du Midi has some great multipitch trad routes

If alpine, then the Conville course if you're under 25.  There's a lifetime's worth of stuff to know about glaciers, snow, weather, navigation, self rescue.  Otherwise some of the expedition companies do "all abilities" trips and you could go with them.

On the spanish side, Ordesa has a bit of everything

Benasque is well placed for many hills including the highest in the Pyrenees & Google suggests there are several guides based there, eg https://www.rocayagua.com/fr/
