Hi,

I've just started out rock climbing.
Mainly bouldering indoors at the moment by myself however a friend is starting to join me.
used the atc the other day, but I prefer the Grigri2 and was wondering which crab is best to connect to it.
are there any I should avoid?

In reply to focus89uk: you cant really go wrong with a krab but i use a Petzl Am'D Carabiner with mine and its great, i was recomended it when i brought my gri gri 2 and the way it sits is great and the movement u have aswell is awsome.

If you can afford the penny's, go for the Petzl Frieno carbiner. It was designed to go with it after all.
If not then any screwgate one will be fine, It does not have to be a HMS as the rope is not in contact with the carbiner. I however actually use a Clog HMS, as it allows the Grigri 2 to sit a litle bit higher when I belay wearing my lightweight harness (loopo)
