Cure for split fingertips/hacks

Sorry - this seems to be the only place I can post this to, but in response to a previous discussio on painful split finger tips, I have found the miracle cure is to spread organic honey on a sticking plaster and leave it on overnight.

I get hacks all the time with my work, I know you probably don't want to hear this but the best thing for hacks is pee, I know it's disgusting but it helps right away. Leave it a few minutes then wash your hands. How you go about this is upto yourself.

I am a plasterer renderer and hacks comes with the job unfortunately.

I wonder how many down thumbs i will get for this.

I use germolene. Put it on when you go to bed and it will be much better by morning

It's not hard, it works, I use this method for split nails too

I think they mean "well hard" in the sense tough as it stings like mad for a little while.
I glue mine sometimes if they are that bad and it does sting like mad for a few minutes
