Are there any scrambles in Loch Lomond area that could offer some decent practice for mountaineering skills pre a trip to the Alps?

The Cobbler isn’t far away.

There are some traditional linkups on Ben A’an. Bit more vegetated than the alps though…

Cobbler Traverse might be a useful option - about Diff with some downclimbing and an optional abseil. Otherwise, there is precious little in the area, and you might be better off heading up to Glen Coe.
