So it’s happening! This September  some friends from my local climbing club and me are flying over to Chamonix to do crevasse rescue course and some climbing, glacier walking. I was wondering if you have any recommendations of places to stay? It will be 8 of us staying there for a week. Do you know any good hostels or chalets even in the area that you really lole?

this is a great place to stay, run by my good friend René Robert. 

If you contact him tell him Richard sent you and said there would be a discount! Super location for shops and public transport. I stay elsewhere in the building for 3/4 months every winter.

I used here http://latapia.com/ with the Eagle Ski Club a few years ago - perfectly comfortable, good kitchen and location.
