I need a rucsac for alpine clibing/multi day walks and 45 litres seems about the right size.

I was looking at getting a black diamond sphynx or crux AK47?

Are they any Good?

Have a look at the Grivel Alpine Light, it's comfy, can wear it with a harness easily and it's got lots of thoughtful design ideas in it - on the inside it's got gear loops and it's lined in yellow nylon so you can see whats there.

In reply to moth: Other classic Alpine sacs around the 50L mark include the Macpac Pursuit, POD Black Ice and Crux AK47. The simpler and more bombproof the better, is the general rule.

In reply to TRJ: Forgot to add that I have a Crux AK47 and it rocks - takes a lot of abuse and very light.

I've got the macpac pursuit 50 and it's built very well. Also the wraptor harness was the most comfortable for me out of all the ones that I tried
