Bit of a weird one this, as I don't go in for "hey! look! this guy died!" kind of threads, and I haven't even seen any of his films...but I know a lot of you saw and enjoyed 'Das Leben der Anderen" (The Lives of Others *)...well its star, Muhe, died today. Reflect on this as you wish.

(*I really want to see the film , but didn't have a realistic opportunity to so at the cinema)

In reply to Blue Straggler: That's a great shame. His performance in The Lives of Others is truly memorable - subtle yet powerful and ultimately very poignant.
In reply to GerryS: That was like a good glass of whisky, it gripped a bit made my eyes widen, but there was a sense of appreciation and a warm afterglow.
