Mick Ryan; I read your wannabe male feminist rants against photos of women in bikinis, and that you perceive there is sexism in climbing, etc, etc. and wondered; Why does Mick Ryan hate straight (non gay) men? Does he hate attractive women? Is he pussywhipped/emotionally castrated by his mother/wife/girlfriend (most likely)? Is he a bible thumper? Most people that are offended by photos of fit women in bathing suits are fat or angry women or extreme fundamentalists. Those are the people who get riled up each year by the sports illustrated swimsuit issue, which like the Rikki Ishtoy climbing cover and the like is no more racy/sexy than what anyone can see around any beach/pool/lake/river on any sunny day all over the world! Women don't need your whining, overbearing, fatherish protection! Particularly when it's they who are posing in the photos! Their climbing can speak for itself!

Having gay sex these days is about the same difference as wether your preference within a heterosexual relationship is for the missionary position or from behind.

As for semi naked women on the covers of climbing mags no thanks, I will look at porn for that, on climbing mags I want to see climbers of either sex but climbers with clothes on, I dnt want to appreciate a wman climber for her sexuality I want to appreciate her for her ability to climb
