Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any outdoor location in Lincolnshire or Leicestershire? I know its pretty much the flattest part of england, but are the any quarries etc???

In reply to ros:
i lived in Leicestershire for 3 years, before escaping North, i don't consider it a great place for outdoor crags.
i have been to:
Markfield quarry it is near the M1, between Loughborough and Leicester,
and
Beacon Hill, near Loughborough.
Both crags are probably on UKC crag database.
There use to be a Leicestershire climbing web site, with topos and crag descriptations have a search for that.

Add to that beacon hill, outwoods crag and craig budden. Half the fun of the leicestershire crags is the exploration.
