To all competitors and friends of the OMM/KIMM.

I've started a "just giving" page to try and help encourage people to donate to the Lake District rescue teams following this years OMM. We need the support of the rescue teams for this event to continue in its fine tradition, and showing our gratitude for their work wouldn't go amiss.

Hopefully people who support the race will help us show our gratitude whether they were a competitor this year or not.

As it seems that several teams have been involved, I've set it up to donate to the Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Council rather than one specific team, hopefully this is in keeping with what other people would want.

£2,655 now, plus £717.82 giftaid!

This includes a very generous donation of a £1000 from up and running - I know where my next pair of mudclaws will come from!
