They look a good possibility for me in my rented accommodation.

Anynow seen or used the above product?

Any good points and bad points?

In general, they're pretty good, however;

o My friend uses his more intensively than mine, and the bar that braces across the doorway (at the bottom) is wearing a groove in his door frame.
o I live in a new build, so hollow walls&plasterboard, and the 2 brackets that "hang" onto the top of the frame have pushed into the wall and left 2 holes. This may/may not be due to the door closing when the bar was in place; I never worked it out.

I now have mine spanning the rafters above my loft hatch, but they seem to be fairly decent bits of kit for light use or solid walls/frames.

Ok. So overall they can make groves / holes in the wall, a bit like my typical pull-up that screws in the door frame. Do you think they are better than this type?
