It seems it too hot to climb in Costa Blanca, but has anyone been to Croatia in August...is the temperature going to be a problem?

Yes google is great. It can probably tell you the temperatures in Croatia in August also.

Don't know about August but it was 30C in Paklenica, Croatia during early June this year.

In reply to richardhopton: I was in Paklenica in the second week of August last year. Our days generally consisted of climbing in the shade until around 11, by which time practically everything was in the sun, going back to our apartment for a siesta and then climbing again from around 2/3pm.

We did have one fairly cool day - luckily the only day we did a multi-pitch

yeah, it can also tell you how best to learn playing the guitar as well but you know, sometimes, people just like to get someones actual opinion........strange that..

lol! I gave you my opinion, it is redders in August. Have a good time :0)

I went in early Sept '03 and weather was perfect - warm, not too hot.
