Wildcountry's website seems to be broken www.wildcountry.co.uk/home.htm or maybe there's a trick to it

Does anyone know how to get the manufacturing date from the batch no. on tech friends? I'm tempted to get mine re-slung if/while they're young enough.

Cheers,
jk

I checked mine recently - the website was working then.

Determining age is based on a combination of the four digit stamp AND the features of the cam.

I think if the cam is definitely post 2001 the first 2 digits are the year and the second 2 digits are the week of manufacture. Obviously it would be worth checking this before sending them off. I may have oversimplified that.

It isn't working for me either today. Couldn't get on it this morning. Still can't get on it atm, just tried it.

Thanks, it was a Christmas present 2000 or 2001 I think so likely now too old but it may just be ok. I'll wait for the website to get fixed.

I've found the bit of paper I had when I aged my friends on my desk (different desk than yesterday). These are technical friends BTW.

The codes on my are actually 3 digit not 4 (as I said above).

e.g. Size 00 has 245 stamped = week 45 of 2002.

The meaning of the first digit depends on the features of the cam as well.

While the website is down... does anyone have a phone number I could try regarding technical advice on a cam that I bought a couple of weeks ago?

Cheers Jim. Almscliff later? Grant's heading out if you want to share a car.

My No.2 is "040" so late 2000. Sounds like I can get another decade out of it without any DiY
