It be quite evident to me, as a scoundrel of the sea, that it be because the 'crack' be so deep that the trigger handle be pullin' on the edge (not the U2 singer, the actual crack edge). Watch that again young fella and ye be seein what I be sayin. Essentially it be like when a scallywag be pullin the trigger to get her out, but it be because the lip of the crack be doin it. Yes, it looks scary when you see it like that, but really isn't that big an issue. You can also make it happen by letting the trigger bar twist outside a shallower placement as you place it, but it seems to be a fairly artificial exercise...

It's been discussed here/elsewhere before and concerned me briefly, but I've since fallen on the smallest (00) without problems, and have to believe that Metolius must have tested a full range of scenarios before starting to produce and distribute in quantity.
