Must start a thread some time on subject other than climbs I can't do....... but the latest one is Anji.
Assuming you climb up to overlap around 2m right of arete, how do you get over that overlap and on to the ledge? As someone has commented, "either I was trying to be too direct onto the arete, or that's one hell of a 4c move!"
Anyone remember how you did it?
Only a few more days of the excellent coffee van btw.

Came in from the right at about 5aish. Can be done direct but much harder.

Yes!!! (But I still don't see how shorter people do it - and nor did my shorter partner.)

In reply to JohnHutch: Must admit I can't remember the trick moves but if Lynn did it there must have been, as she can't do long stretches.

In reply to JohnHutch:

Apparently did in '01 but sadly can't remember details although I suspect undercutting might have been involved.

Undercutting the undercut arete is a bit below the belt, non?

(I think you are right btw)
