Main roads (A-roads and Motorways) are fine around Southampton but bear in mind more snow possible on Saturday eve if you are returning.,.

You can check here http://www.trafficengland.com/motorwayflow.aspx (turn on traffic camera so you can view for yourself.

You are 23 for fech sake. It is not the Karakorum highway. If push comes to shove take a break at a Shell station and replenish provisions with some Ginster pies and Magnum lollies.

shakes head in frustration

In reply to Slugain Howff:
Ginsters are quite a dangerous propersition. Especially if heated adn obtained from a "back country" service station.

In reply to Sircumfrins:

All the main roads and bus routes in Dorset are being regularly gritted. - You should be fine. it's just the side roads and some country lanes which aren't being treated.
have fun
