I'm looking for a place to climb in the lakes suitable for someone who has only led a few diffs and vdiffs but also to keep more experienced climbers entertained as well any help would be really appreciated

In reply to gaz186: If you don't mind a walk Grey Crag in Buttermere is perfect. Routes are mainly in the D - HS grade with a few VSs for good measure. Most are 2 pitches. I remember Harrow Buttress as being a good Diff and Mitre Buttress Direct a decent V Diff. The best route there in the lower grades is Oxford and Cambridge Direct (MS). As I say it's a walk to get there but will be less crowded and far more memorable than a day at Shepherd's. (Nothing wrong with Shepherd's it's convenient and very quick to dry and sheltered if it's too cold for the higher crags.)
