I've made some photo topos in the past by importing a photo of a crag as a jpeg into Word and adding text and lines, then copying the image into Irfanview and saving the topo as a jpeg. Does anyone have any other easier ways to do this without using complicated software? I have Photoshop CS3 but I'm a complete amature at using it.

In reply to Sharp:

Inkscape is great for doing professional photos with lines.

I use InDesign after that.

This software is about as good as it gets unless you want to do it with photoshop or a graphics program. Simple to learn and made for making topo´s!
