On my way to Manchester Airport a week ago I had to make an urgent 'phone call. However, every time I dialled the number I heard some sort of multi-tone bleeps and then got a message to say the call had ended. I tried about eight times on mine(Vodafone) and the Mrs tried on her - same thing happened and she is also on Vodafone. Anyone know what might have caused this?
Maybe the ground RADAR of an over flying plane was producing, in effect to you, a jamming signal?
It's probably best to rig a few extra car batteries in your boot, and with a little bit of white mans magic boost your mobile phones signal by a few kilowatts to give it that burn through strength.
