Having an etrex Vista HCX. I notice the short waypoint names. Are longer in the new one. What is nice feature if you want to store boulder names in Font or what ever. The receiver seems to be much better (sensitive). It tracks now also Russian satellites so the amount of ref points to locate the position is more accurate. Easier interface. Battery life difference, I don’t know. Worth the money? Depends on the use.
